This is part of a series of videos describing the rapid and dynamic evolution of UC Davis during its first 100 years. These were created by Verne Mendel for the UC Davis centennial in 2008. He received the Edward A. Dickson Award to assemble these using clips taken from some 325 individual interviews of retired professors. They were chosen to represent to the people and events which took place within each major academic unit.
